Where Am I? Game #197

I am finally cycling again, after a knee injury, and it's time once again for the Where Am I? Game! First all, congratulations to Tim G. for correctly identifying the location of Game #196. It was the Weber Grill Restaurant on Illinois Street in Downtown Indy. This was Tim's first win!

Now let's play Game #197. Can you guess where I was near the Cultural Trail when I took this next photo of a King Kong look-alike? If you are new to the game, the directions are here.

Good luck!

Back on the Trail Again!

On April 19 I suffered a knee injury. Last week I finally received the OK from my doctor to start cycling again, starting today. However, since the weather was perfect yesterday, I started last evening instead. Everything was fine, knee included.

As I cycled by one of the Urban Zelt bike counters, I noticed the count was the highest number I've ever seen for one day. I'm grateful I could finally join those other cyclists on the Cultural Trail!

Imagining the Past

As I was cycling by this building on N. Capitol Avenue, I imagined what it must have looked like in the 1920s when it was the Hatfield Ford Company. The 3rd large window is now covered up, but I think it must have looked something like this. I highlighted the original signs carved into the building.
