I came across the swimming start of the annual Tri Indy Triathlon on the Canal around 8:00 a.m. The swimmers were lined up along the canal and a starter judge told each swimmer when to jump in. They swam the canal all the way to White River State Park. I took these photos of the swimming event. Click a photo to view a larger size.
Congrats to Bryan for guessing the location of Game #181. It was the intersection of Alabama and Ohio Streets. This is Bryan's first win! Congrats! (And thanks to Joe Hettle for the photo.)
This next game is for people who walk the Cultural Trail and sometimes look up and do not constantly look at their phones. Can you guess where I was when I took this photo 2 months ago? Good luck!
If you are new to the game, the directions are here.
On this beautiful morning I spotted Joe Hettle near the Canal, giving another one of his famous bike tours. Today the guest was Lindsey, a veterinarian from Iowa. I hope you enjoyed your visit, Lindsey!
It was our first Ride & Seek cycling scavenger hunt, sponsored by the Indiana Historical Society. Our team consisted of Jerome Horne, Austin Gibble, Tony and me, and we were called the Puzzle Chasers. We had to cycle around Indianapolis on or near the Cultural Trail to solve puzzles about people or places from history. It was great fun.
