Cycling with Tony G
What a great day! The weather was beautiful, and I got to ride the Cultural Trail with Tony G who is on Spring Break. We rode on the Cultural Trail, plus the Shelby Street Cycling Track and on to Garfield Park.
On the way home we cycled on the Monon Trail to 16th Street so I could check out the Tinker Flats Building. Tony told me it was going to be converted into in an artisan food hub! I've always been fond of that building and I hoped that someday it would be renovated.
And recently Peter George announced that he was opening a new restaurant at 16th & New Jersey called Tinker Street, after the name of the original 16th Street.
Things are looking up for the Old Northside Neighborhood!
