Meet & Greet

Our neighborhood, The Old Northside, has a Meet and Greet every year. This year, for the first time, it was in the Landmarks Center so were able to walk there with just a fe steps. We saw some old friends, and of course I enjoyed the fried chicken from Jug's Catering!

The artist, Tom Torleumke, who painted the people and faces on the Central Avenue Bridge was at the bridge before the Meet and Greet started. We could chose a face that represented ourselves. Then Tom stepped up a ladder and wrote our names below the faces. The face I chose didn't have gray hair, but I thought it had my smile. (All of the older faces were much older than me.)  Ha ha!
