Trimming the Trees
I am impressed with the job that All Points Tree Service did this morning, and I was surprised they showed up on the coldest morning so far.
The 2 elm trees that my partner Mike planted 18 years ago were due for a trimming because they were growing over the roof of the house. (Unfortunately one of the elm trees was suddenly cut down by the City a few weeks ago because it was "interfering with the wires," the ones that cross the front of our property. But they left the dead ash tree, also on city property!)
There was also a Bradford Pear tree that was squeezed between the 2 big elms, and it was time for it go.
Here's the crew in action. Notice the guy in the video at the end. I guess that's one way to keep warm.
