A Scrapbook of Sculptures by Don Gummer

I completed photographing the 8 sculptures by American sculptor Don Gummer, now on exhibit at various locations around the Cultural Trail until August, 2017.

It took me a while to find the last sculpture at the northwest corner of Washington and West Street. I finally learned from a friend where it was. It was exactly where it was supposed to be, but it was blocked during the day by the literature display and the church people, the ones who stand on prominent corners throughout the city every day.

One morning I decided to get up early before the church people arrived and, lo and behold, I saw the sculpture! (I wonder why those folks don't move over a bit so people can see the sculpture?)

All 8 sculptures are beautiful in their own way, but I do have a favorite. It's Minuteman. I include an extra photo of it, with my bicycle.

Here is my scrapbook of Don Gummer's sculptures. Click any photo view a larger size.
